This special 3-day Advanced Workshop for Intimacy Coordinators will be held in Sydney from 7th to 9th December 2024.
Facilitated by Australian IC Samantha Murray from Safe Sets (UK, EU, SA), this workshop is designed for established IC professionals actively working in the screen industry. With growing demand for a broader and more nuanced approach to intimate content, this program provides a unique opportunity for up to 20 Australian screen ICs to engage in intensive, internationally informed professional development I will.

The Australian film industry has evolved significantly since the introduction of the Intimacy Coordinator role. ICs are now expected to meet the increasingly complex demands of both domestic and international productions. In this immersive workshop you will:
Addressing global protocols: Understand global standards and expectations for filming intimate scenes. Bridging the gap: Connecting different approaches across Australian IC practice. Develop advanced skills: Build practical skills and knowledge that align with the latest industry advances. Strengthening industry relationships: Fostering connections within Australia’s local film community.
This workshop will feature expert-led sessions, practical exercises, and peer-to-peer interactions. All of these are designed to improve and further support IC practices and ensure they are ready to meet the evolving needs of the screen industry.
