AACTA President Russell Crowe will host next month’s AACTA Awards and headline the industry gala, which will be preceded by fellow actor Stephen Curry.
The major awards, scheduled to be held at Home of the Arts (HOTA) on the Gold Coast on Friday 7th February, will include international stars who are currently filming Amazon MGM Studios’ Voltron feature at Village Roadshow Studios. , Henry Cavill and other presenters will appear. In addition to hosting, Crowe will also present the inaugural AACTA Award for Outstanding Contribution to music legend Paul Kelly, who will perform “How to Make Gravy” that night. The song inspired Nick Waterman’s film of the same name, which received 15 nominations.
There will also be a performance of Angel by British star Robbie Williams, who inspired the most nominated film, “Better Man.”

The 2025 AACTA Awards Ceremony will be broadcast in Australia on Friday 7 February at 7:30pm (AEDT) on Channel 10. A special extended broadcast of the AACTA Awards, including all awards from the ceremony, will be available for viewing on Saturday, February 8th at 7:30 p.m. Binge and Foxtel (famous and available on demand). Both ceremonies will be held as part of the five-day AACTA Festival from February 5th to 9th.
