The Red Bull Gameball Royale is the ultimate showdown of the Australian creator scene. This interactive dodgeball tournament sees four teams led by Loserfruit, Lachlan, IAMFALLFROMGRACE and Muselk compete at Australia’s largest gaming festival, PAX.
“When Red Bull approached me to be the team captain for the Red Bull Gameball Royale, I was very excited. How do you beat a player like Muselk in the game and on the court? We know how to build and work with people who have the best knowledge of the game. Other captains won’t know what hit them.”
With a twist on the high-impact, high-energy sport of dodgeball, Red Bull has elevated the popular schoolyard sport by injecting video game elements.
These new mechanics give players strategic advantages such as shields, extra balls, and player respawns, provided through an interactive stage floor.
To advance towards becoming Australia’s first Red Bull Gameball Royale champion, players will need to dip, dive, duck and dodge to earn these bonuses.
There will also be opportunities for attendees to play casual games and meet their favorite creators.
