Pre-production has begun on the third season of Seven Network’s TV WEEK Logie Award-nominated drama RFDS.
Produced by Endemol Shine Australia (Banijay Entertainment Company) for Seven, with major production investment from Screen Australia, Seven and the South Australian Film Corporation, the film stars Emma Hamilton, Stephen Peacock, Justin Clarke, All of the main cast, including Ash Ricardo, are expected to return. , Emma Harvey, Rodney Afif, Jack Scott, Sophia Nolan, Thomas Weatherall, Rob Collins (nominated for this year’s TV WEEK Logie Award for Best Actor in a Drama for his role as Dr. Wayne Yates).
The much-anticipated third season will be filmed in South Australia, using the Port Augusta RFDS base to expand to Adelaide and the beautiful Flinders Ranges, as upgrades to Broken Hill Airport, runway and RFDS facilities will take place during the scheduled production period.
