Prime Video will begin filming this week with an AFL-centric docusary featuring F1: Drive To Survive Producers Box to Box Films and Goodthing Productions.
According to the announcement, the series will show a character-driven snapshot of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership season, unfolding into competitions and providing an interior look while immersing viewers.
Amazon MGM Studios’ untitled AFL Docuseries is an executive produced by Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees, Hillary Olsen, Nick Batzias and Charlotte Wheaton. More news about storylines, players and team casting will soon be announced.
It’s not the first time Prime Video has made the league a virtual spotlight. Previously, I commissioned a jam TV mark, a screen time kick, and an EQ media warrior on the field.
The sport was also the focus of Disney+ Series Fearless: The Inside Story of the Aflw and Stan’s Show Me The Money.
Alexandra Gilbert, content manager for Prime Video Anz, said he was excited to bring the streamer to the audience “insider access to special moments and personality.”

Box -to Box has once again been recognized in the serialized category of this year’s Sports Emmy Awards for F1: Drive To Survive. The seventh season premiered on Netflix in March.
