Prime Video launches Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription

Prime Video has included another platform as an add-on to its service, making Apple TV+ available to subscribers in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

For $12.99 a month, Australian members get access to Major, as well as Severance, Bad Sisters, Silo, Slow Horses, Morning Wars, Presumed Innocent, Shrinking, Hijack, Root, Palm Royale, Wolfs, The Investigators, and more. You can access the title. League Soccer and Major League Baseball sporting events.

This comes after Prime Video welcomed Sony-owned anime streaming service Crunchyroll to its add-on subscription stable in October.

Prime Video’s head of marketplace for Australia, New Zealand and Canada, Daniel Slepak, said the service now offers more than 22 additional streaming subscriptions in Australia.

“The addition of Apple TV+ and its popular and critically acclaimed shows, movies, and events is sure to delight our customers, and unlock even more content with the convenience of one app and one password. ” he said.

Eddie Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of services, said the company is excited to expand the audience for Apple TV+ and its “library of award-winning series and movies from the world’s best storytellers.” .

“U.S. viewers love the ability to subscribe to Apple TV+ with Prime Video, and we’re excited to launch the service in the UK, Canada and Australia,” he said.

Prime members can subscribe to Apple TV+ without downloading any additional apps beyond Prime Video, and no cable is required.
