Prices for Pokemon TCG Booster Packs have risen in Australia

At this point, Pokemon TCG packs some of the hottest products on the planet, and EB games need to go on to lengths like the lock packs behind the EB World Plus subscription, but today we noticed that all booster packs (old and new) are increasing to $9 in Australia.

The booster was able to go for about $6 before Covid, but this has steadily risen to $7/$8, and now it’s at its highest of $9, so you can pay $324 for the booster box. We believe this is related to suppliers who will raise the prices of booster packs. This means that retailers obviously need to pass this on to their customers.

This can be seen on the EB Games website, with other retailers posting about price increases from suppliers. In a statement posted by Trainer Hub, the brand said that the Australian distributor of Pokemon TCG has increased its price by 15%.

“The Australian Pokémon distributors today advise that all Pokémon TCG products will have an increase in cost prices of around 15% from now on, including current and future sets (including reprints). The RRP has been tuned to reflect this (the new RRP in the Australian booster pack is currently $8.50 or $306.

Therefore, our prices will be adjusted according to pre-orders starting with the RRP above (in the current market). Orders already paid will not be affected. ”

At the time of writing, all of the following packs are available at EB Games for $9.

In case you missed it, EB Games has a fateful rival set at AEDT today at 1pm. For more information, please click here.
