Nintendo has released the first gameplay footage of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch 2. Free updates will go a long way in making the game look better.
What’s clear from the footage is that it runs at a more clearly higher resolution, running at 60 fps, a major improvement from the Switch 1 version. You will see brighter highlights from HDR, which will show you improved draw distance.
GameXplain has compiled comparison videos, and watching them side by side really shows improvements.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have free upgrades to the Nintendo Switch 2 along with these other games.
