Less than a month later, Pax Australia 2025 is becoming one of the biggest celebrations of gaming culture in the country’s history. Returning to Melbourne this October, the three-day festival revealed a huge hit exhibitor lineup that combines the biggest names of games, inevitable activations, exclusive demonstrations and massive doses of esports energy.
Nintendo has been out all this year and offers a booth loaded with new releases of both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch. For the first time in Australia, fans can step into Lumiorth City with a playable demo of the legendary Pokemon: ZA – ahead of its release on October 16th. It also features Kirby Air Riders (on sale November 20th), Hyrule Warriors: Age of Promsrisonment, and the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and the newly introduced Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Finishing the booth is an indie and third-party gem that includes Hollow Knight: Silksong and Hades II.
The Xbox booth, titled “This is Xbox,” promises to be a mega experience. Participants can try out the new Rog Xbox Ally and Rog Xbox Ally X, practice the Ninja Gaiden 4 and dive into hidden surprises in booths designed for exploration and discovery.
Sims fans will be transported outside the Camp Gibi Gibi booth. Here, a new expansion pack adventure will be playable. Expect to sneak peak camp-themed activities, merchandise prizes and even the next Sims Freeplay update. Devolver Digital and Melbourne’s own giant monsters are set to unleash the world’s first playable demo of the cult of Lamb’s new DLC, Woolhaven. The booth also offers surprises, products and opportunities to meet in person lambs.
Bethesda has not pulled punches in a fallout-inspired booth with highly radioactive rocket diners and a Vault-Tec cafeteria. Fans can win prizes, exclusive collectibles (such as the fallout 76 pinney arcade pins), and photo shoots straight from the wasteland. Studio Game Director Rich Lambert will also appear in the Live Elder Scroll Online Panel, but Doom Prop will dominate the nearby Aftershock booth.
The gearbox is featured in panels, behind-the-scenes stories, panels where Mokshi’s bars are revived for themed drinks and giveaways, and behind-the-scenes stories. Ubisoft is a Just Dance fan at the Asia-Pacific eSports tournament, Creator Show Match and Expo Hall to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Rainbow Six siege.
Meanwhile, the Australian eSports League (AEL) Nationals will be holding high stakes matches in the siege of Rocket League, Valorant and Rainbow Six, solidifying PAX AUS as a hub for competitive games.

Fans can also practice the latest hardware such as MSI, Sony Inzone, Thermaltake, Turtle Beach, KeyChron, and Powera.
Since its debut in 2013, Pax AUS has become Australia’s largest gaming festival and Crown Jewel for Melbourne International Game Week. Combining consoles, PCs, tabletops, cosplay and community-driven events, this year’s edition promises to be the most ambitious of all time.
