Olivia Munn is the latest star to model for shapewear brand SKIMS, showing off her mastectomy scars in the campaign images as she continues to battle breast cancer.
In the photos, taken by artist Vanessa Beecroft, Mann models products from the lingerie and shapewear brand founded by Kim Kardashian, including a head-turning nipple illusion. Also includes bra.
The campaign was launched during the final week of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in partnership with the Susan G. Komen Organization to encourage women to get early screening, according to a press release. Mann advocates for people to calculate their breast cancer risk score, which led to her diagnosis early last year.

“This cause is very personal to me, and I’m proud to help foster awareness and conversation about it,” Mann said in the release.
“SKIMS’ commitment to empowerment and community aligns perfectly with the campaign’s message of confidence, comfort, and feeling your best self. That’s exactly how I felt while shooting this. Ta.”
Last month, Mann shared a timeline of her breast cancer journey on social media. That included multiple mammograms, ultrasounds and genetic testing in 2022 and early 2023. All those tests were negative.

But in March, her doctor tested Mann using the Tyler Cusick Risk Assessment Calculator and found that her lifetime risk was 37.3 percent, more than three times the risk for the general population. This led her to undergo further tests, including an MRI and a biopsy.
She was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in April 2024 and has since undergone a double mastectomy and reconstruction, among other treatments.
She noted that Mann also underwent a partial hysterectomy in April of this year, a few months after her egg retrieval. She and her husband, comedian John Mulaney, welcomed their second child via surrogate in September.

In a podcast episode with the Susan G. Komen Organization, Mann spoke further about the importance of the campaign at SKIMS.
“When people think of SKIMS, they think of beauty and sexiness, but I don’t think breast cancer is always the first thing they think of, just like it’s not even in the top 100.” she said.
She revealed that she originally wanted to cover some of her scars for this project, but changed her mind after experiencing a moment between shoots.

“After I did the first shot in this black bodysuit, we changed clothes and were touching up my scar with the makeup artist. And then I realized that she was in a position that I had never actually been in before.” When I had my scars fixed, I suddenly had a shock: “I’ve yet to learn to love,” she recalled.
“But I was looking at my mastectomy scar and thinking about the first time I saw it and how shocking it was to me. And I thought, You know, I look at these scars as proof of how hard I fought.”
“And now I not only accept that scar, but I want to show other women who are dealing with the same scar that there’s nothing wrong with that.”

Mann joins other celebrities who have modeled for Kardashian’s brand, including Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Fox, Heidi Klum, Cardi B and Lana Del Rey.
SKIMS has a history of supporting social causes and has previously made donations to families affected by COVID-19 and relief efforts in Ukraine. The brand recently signed high-profile partnerships with the WNBA and NBA, and worked with Team USA for Paris 2024.
SKIMS announced that by the end of this month, it will donate a portion of its bra sales to Susan G. Komen to support breast cancer research and awareness.
