Creators Program
Screen Australia and the Australian Writers Guild (AWG) have announced that applications are now being accepted for The Creators Program. Now in its second year, The Creators is a career acceleration program for talented mid-career writers as they work toward creating their own shows.
Through the program, up to six writers with an existing slate of episodes will be selected to travel to Los Angeles, USA, to attend training, industry conferences, and networking events in 2024.
Building on the success of the 2023 program, this second installment provides selected screenwriters with world-class training, project and pitch development, and networking opportunities to sell their stories in domestic and international markets. I will.

To apply, screenwriters must have recent credits in television, feature films, or theater. and existing interest from the international community. We also require a slate of 3-5 scripted episodic projects currently in development, including one lead project with a draft pilot script to be developed as part of the program. Interested participants must be able to attend between May 4 and May 17, 2024.
