BTL Next Step is a trusted starting point and career accelerator for below-the-line (BTL) mid-career practitioners to step up to senior crew and leadership roles where talent is in short supply. The latest round focuses on upskilling editors, line producers and production managers.

BTL Next Step Stage Two applications are currently open for four mid-career practitioners (“Participants”) to participate in the BTL Next Steps program. These are paid opportunities for competitively evaluated and selected mid-career practitioners who are ready to step up to one of the four roles listed.
Applicants may apply for any opportunity regardless of their residential address (applicants do not need to currently reside in the location listed for a particular opportunity). Applicants may select one preferred career advancement opportunity and may select one alternative opportunity.
Opportunities to apply include: Wildbear Entertainment: Editor (Canberra, Australia) Finch No Worries: Line Producer (Paddington, NSW) Werner Productions: Production Manager (South Melbourne, Victoria) Media Stockade Two: Production Manager ( Adelaide, SA)
