Nintendo will be holding an online playtest for the new game later this week, and those who took part in the test have already shared not only its content, but also a ton of information and screenshots thanks to the guide Nintendo has posted online. are. We have decided not to share screenshots here, but much of the content of the new game/service can be found here.
It’s a new, unnamed game, but the goal of the game is to “use your creativity and framework resources to fully develop a massively expanding planet in cooperation with others.”
The description goes on to say, “As you progress across the globe, you’ll discover new lands, enemies, and resources that will be essential to your journey.”
Players are given special tools called beacons that help cleanse and develop the land. The higher you place the beacon, the wider the zone. This process must be repeated until the planet is considered fully developed.
The game also has another area called “The Dev Core,” which Nintendo describes as a social hub where you can gather with other players. You can level up your character, earn items, and interact with others.
The game also has UGC elements, but to create content you have to pass a UGC license test by answering a few questions in classic Nintendo fashion.
We don’t know when this game will be released or what it will be called, but for those of you in other parts of the world (other than Australia), you’ll be playing this week, so you’ll be playing a brand new game. I’m really looking forward to seeing it. Nintendo. You can see more images and read more on Resetera here.
