Nintendo Switch 2 looks like the OG Switch game has been enhanced

We all question how Nintendo handles OG Nintendo Switch games on Nintendo Switch 2, and while it has been confirmed that the original games are compatible with each other, it appears they are confirming that there is an original Nintendo Switch game for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.

The footnote text listed on the Virtual Game Cards website states, “Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games and Nintendo Switch 2 edition games can only be loaded on the Nintendo Switch 2 system.”

This actually means from an upgrade perspective and if they are free or costly, you’ll know next week. If I were a bettor, I’d be getting a 4K upscale version of the original Nintendo Switch game for games like Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon ZA Legend, but I could do older games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom too.
