It’s been a mainstay of Nintendo Switch 2 leaks in the lead-up to its announcement in the coming months, but the best leak of the updated Joy-Cons has just been released in the form of an all-new photo.
The new photo matches all previous leaks and looks very authentic from the markings and serial number, showing a new black/blue Joy-Con.
These Joy-Cons are larger (to match the larger display) and feature magnetic connectors with new quick-release buttons on the back, as well as updated SL/SR side buttons that appear to be usable without the rail attached. We are prepared.

We can also see what looks like an improved analog stick with a Hall effect sensor.
With more and more manufacturing information leaking over the last month, it seems increasingly likely that the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch in the first half of this year. It is expected to be announced in March at the latest, but could be announced as early as this week.
