Update 28/05/25: Nintendo has updated its list of backward compatible games for Nintendo Switch 2, removing some of the games that were previously marked incompatible.
Currently there are 118 games with startup issues, 50 games with in-game compatibility issues, and 54 games.

Original Story: Nintendo has made it clear which games are not fully backward compatible on the Nintendo Switch. There are a few perpetrators we may have been expecting, but some surprising games may not launch, or they may start with the following issues:
Nintendo says those lists will be updated again later this month, but at the time of writing, 141 games with big hitters including Doom: Eternal and NBA 2K25 and 50 with issues like Alan Wake Remastered, Fall Guys and Aliens Isolation are not working.

Obviously, there are a number of games that OG Joy-Con controllers need to play, including the 1-2 Switch, Ring Fit Adventure, and various LABO releases.
