It feels like there’s been a Nintendo Switch 2 leak almost every day this week, and recently several accessory SKUs have appeared on GameStop’s internal systems. Photos shared to Reddit show a number of accessories for the Nintendo Switch successor that have yet to be revealed, including a carrying case, screen protector, and a microSD card for memory expansion.
Perhaps the most interesting piece of information from the images is that the expanded memory appears to support the next generation of storage cards, Express microSD cards. The card is faster than the previous generation supported by the current Nintendo Switch, and is an upgrade that rivals the NVME SSD storage technology in the PlayStation 5 and modern PC hardware.
A faster card can significantly improve load times, game performance, and installation times.

The pricing is also interesting, with the 256GB card priced at $49.99 and the 512GB card priced at $84.99. A charging stand is also available for $29.99. Of course, we don’t yet know how much these will cost in Australia, but assuming these are the official accessory RRP prices, it doesn’t seem excessive.
Several items have release dates listed, the earliest being the charging stand listed as October 17, 2025. The Switch 2 has long been expected to launch in the next few months, and while an October launch seems unlikely, we’ll probably know when it does arrive soon. The Switch 2 has experienced an onslaught of leaks. The announcement will be coming soon!
The announcement comes on the heels of the best look at the console so far, as Genki posted a waiting list webpage for Switch 2 accessories yesterday.
