The latest Nintendo revenue report has been released, and the most interesting fact is the forecast for sales of the Nintendo Switch 2.
The company plans to sell 15 million Nintendo Switch 2 units and 45 million games by March 2026. This will surpass the original Nintendo Switch sales of millions (and released three months ago) and become a bestselling console within the first fiscal year of sale.
It will also be far ahead of both the PS4 and PS5 in its first fiscal year, but both were released later this year, with the PS5 having serious stock restraints.
The Nintendo Switch has nearly beaten the Nintendo DS, approaching the PS2, and as long as the game continues, Super Mario Jamboree has reached 7 million units, Zelda’s Echo has reached 3.7 million units, Robicon Country HD Return, Ruigi’s Mario 2, and Paper Mario have surpassed 1.3 million units.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on June 5th, and you can read a hands-on preview of the game here.
