In an announcement that no one expected, Namco Bundy and From Software have announced an all-new Elden Ring game.
It’s called Elden Ring: Nightreign, will be fully playable in co-op, and will be released in 2025 for PS5/PS4, Xbox, and PC.
It’s as if it will feature Dark Souls 3 and also feature brand new enemies, areas, and weapons.
In this game, you will be participating in the game either solo or with a squad of three people. You must survive three day/night cycles while making decisions about combat and exploration in order to fight the boss at the end of each day.
It is explained as follows.
“Players must choose from eight unique characters, each with unique abilities and powerful ultimates. Their journey takes them to Linfeld, where they discover that the coming night tides have destroyed the map. Faced with a shrinking cycle of nights, players must make split-second decisions regarding combat and exploration.At the end of each night, players face powerful bosses and, upon victory, awaken to even greater challenges. Each session is the first in which you have to face off against a chosen Nightlord. It culminates in 3 nights. An individual can fight the night alone, but the Nightfarer gains strength in numbers. You must combine your unique abilities and learn to work together to overcome these challenges, gaining an unparalleled experience in the world of. All is not lost for the defeated. A failed run will reward players with relics, allowing them to customize and upgrade their characters to suit their personal playstyle.
