PlayStation today released a new 15-minute gameplay trailer for Silent Hill 2 Remake, showing off the infamous Flesh Rip boss fight. This shows how far the game has come.

This is just one example of updating a central moment in the game. The original battle featured three monsters, and this new battle focuses on a single enemy in multiple phases. This shows that Bloober hasn’t just given the game a fresh coat of paint, but has actually updated the overall design of certain elements.
Apparently, the gameplay footage also shows off modern gameplay, including over-the-shoulder shooting mechanics and a controllable camera, similar to what was seen in the Resident Evil remake.
