Apple concluded the week’s Mac announcements by announcing updates to the new M4 MacBook Pro and M4 MacBook air series.
MacBook Pro now includes the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips, and each device now includes the minimum 16GB of memory required for Apple Intelligence.
Other hardware improvements include a new 12MP Center Stage camera, extended 24-hour battery life, and the availability of new nanotexture display options (like the iMac and Apple Studio displays). Glare. The display is also brighter and can now display SDR content at 1000 nits.
Like the Mac Mini, Thunderbolt 5 is now available. Probably overkill for now, but great for the future.
Apple also announced that the MacBook Air will come with a minimum of 16GB of RAM and will be priced from the same AU$1,599, which is clearly a great deal.
