We’ll have to wait until the Dragon Ball Game Battle Hour event in April to find out more about the project, but it has been revealed that it will feature a completely new original character designed by Akira Toriyama, who sadly passed away in 2024.
There is early speculation that this game may take place in the distant future, courtesy of the title. What is clear, however, is that this character appears to be part of Capsule Corporation, can be turned into a Super Saiyan, and has some connection to Goku.
It’s hard to know what form a new game will take, but Dragon Ball’s latest video game, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, has been a huge success for the brand, topping the pre-order charts and subsequently selling millions of copies in its first few days. Therefore, we expect Age 1000 to have similar success.
Once we know more about Dragon Ball 1000 Years, we will report back.
