The official trailer has arrived for the fourth collaboration between filmmaker Yorgos Lantimos and star Emma Stone. Get ready for bagonia. Take a look at the above and read the essentials.
What is it?
Jang Joon-Hwan’s 2003 cult standout Save the Green Planet! English remake of this Boncars-loving film, Logline, said, “A young man who was forced into a plot will lure the top CEO of a major company and I’m sure she is meant to destroy the planet Earth.”
Jesse Plemons and newcomer Aidan Delbis will play the adductors. It also stars Alicia Silverstone and Stavros Halkias. Following the favorites, poor and kind, this is the fourth Lanthimos -Stone feature film.
Who is behind it?
The script comes from Will Tracy, who co-written the satire thriller with Menu and previously wrote on last week’s news satire late-night talk show with John Oliver.
The film’s producers include Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Ali Astor, Lars Knudsen, Mikey Lee and Jerry Kyungbumb Comb alongside Lanthimos and Stone.
Does Emma Stone believe in aliens?
At the Venice Film Festival cited by the Guardian, Emma Stone was asked obvious questions. “I don’t know about looking down at us, but one of my favourite people I’ve ever lived was Carl Sagan and I was hooked on his philosophy and science and how wonderful he is,” she said. “He believed very deeply in the idea that we were alone in this vast and vast universe – not what we are being seen – it is quite narcissistic.
When will Bagonia be released?
In the US, Bagonia will be released in a limited release on October 24th and widely released on October 31st. The film will be released in Australian cinemas on October 30th.
