Originals’ Stanhead Amandaduty will become Netflix ANZ’s next content director.
Duthie’s move to rival streamer follows the surprising departure of former content director Keminluu in April.
In his four years at Stan, Duthie piloted the ambitious plan of streamers to release 30 originals a year by 2025, bringing screen titles like me, tourists, bad behavior, Kuroyuki, blood transfusion, 10 pound ponzu, completely fine, naked Tuesday, 2025 nude, bump and more.
The executive is also known as the creative director/CEO of the Adelaide Film Festival, where he served for six years from 2012 to 2018. Through the festival’s investment fund, she supported the film “58 projects including Nightingale, Sweet Country, Charlie’s Country, and Tuesday 52).
Duthie holds a variety of positions at SBS, the South Australian film company, and ABC.

Working under Duthie will be Katherine Slattery, scripted development manager for Matchbox Pictures.
Slattery has been working at Matchbox since 2021, working as manager fiction development for Film Victoria and VP content development for Screen Queensland.

South Korea-based Kim, who managed Netflix’s local slate after Luu’s departure, said the past few months were reminiscent of “Netflix’s important role in the local industry” and was pleased to be able to reunite with his key ANZ partners in person.
