Netflix is kicking off 2026 with a solid January lineup. Series farewells, gripping mysteries, and star-studded thrillers arrive in quick succession.
The headline is “Stranger Things 5: Finale,” and Hawkins goes into lockdown as Eleven and the entire party unite on one mission: hunt and kill Vecna. From there, the month pivots to crime and intrigue, including “HIS & HERS,” in which estranged spouses race to solve a murder while suspecting each other, and Agatha Christie’s “The Seven Dials,” a country house mystery in which a party ends in death and someone must untangle the mess.
In a dark ending, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s thriller The Rip throws the Miami police into a trust-destroying nightmare after a cash heist changes everything, while Vacationers offers a romantic palate of many summers, opposite personalities, and the uncomfortable question of whether it was always more than friendship. This month concludes with Bridgerton: Season 4 Part 1, where the focus shifts to Benedict and the “Silver Lady” who finally makes him question the one thing he’s been avoiding.
