MSI has made its way to the Computex stage to reveal five new monitors, but frankly, there’s something for everyone now. MSI monitors are widely known in the market for being the best value for money monitors, so expanding into new areas is great for everyone.
MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 Monitor
The MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 is a QD-OLED monitor with an AI care sensor. This basically means that there are cameras that automatically turn off the monitor and can utilize human detection to handle things like colors, contrast, etc. based on the environment of the room.
This is a 27-inch 1440p monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate and has 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 500 support on the colour front. For Mac users or users who want to charge their USB-C via a monitor, it comes with 98W USB-C charging. This is a must for me.
MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50 Monitor
This is basically the same monitor as the MPG version, but it does not have an AI care sensor and slightly less PD charging. And that’s $50 less. It is a 27-inch 1440p monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate, with 99% DCI-P3 color coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 500 support on the colour front.
MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 Monitor
This is a 27-inch QD-Oled with a resolution of 1440p and a refresh rate of 280Hz. A slightly different one features a completely white panel that has a white setup and is perfect for anyone hoping to carry it all the way to the monitor.
It has a wide gamut covering 0.3ms response time, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits SDR brightness, 178/178 viewing angle, 10-bit color depth, 99% of DCI-P3, 138% of SRGB and 98% of ADOBE RGB color space.
MPG 274URDFW Mini E16M Monitor
For those not ready to jump to the OLED, this is a 27-inch mini-driven monitor with the ability to display at 4K/160Hz or 1080p/320Hz, and is certified by the DisplasHDR 1000 with enough dimming zone to provide great brightness and contrast. It has HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4Z, and a USB-C port that provides 98W of power.
MPG 242R X60N monitor
This is for hardcore gamers. At 500Hz, this monitor is no longer sufficient as it has this monitor that supports a 4:3 aspect ratio and the ability to power devices up to 98W.
