Monster Hunter Wild’s open beta allows players to try out the game ahead of next year’s release. You can take on a variety of missions, from part of the story mission to repeatable monster hunts. All in all, it looks set to give players a good chance to experience some of the new weapon mechanics and see the new environment in action.
From what we’ve seen so far, and what we played in the Monster Hunter Wild preview, the game is poised to move the series forward with evolving landscapes and more complex monster behavior. This is a big change that allows you to bring more than one weapon on your hunt, allowing for more build experimentation. With changes like these, we can expect Monster Hunter Wild to land on the best cross-play games list by the end of the year.
Whether you’re a PS Plus subscriber, PS5 player, Xbox player, or playing on PC, you’ll be able to play Monster Hunter Wild Open Beta. We’ll also detail what you can expect in the beta, including rewards that will carry over to the full game at launch.
