Southern Charm star Michael Kelcourse has died at the age of 71.
Kerkos was known for working as a butler for reality star Patricia Altschul, 83, who paid tribute to him after his death.
The news was also shared on the Carrying Bridge website, which announced that he passed away on October 22 from “complications from a spinal cord injury and stroke.”

In his eulogy, Altschul said Kerkos was like “family” to him.
“It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved Michael left us yesterday morning in Sarasota and passed away peacefully. He was more than just a dedicated deacon. He has been a trusted friend, confidant and member of our family for over 20 years,” she wrote.
Calling him a “fan favorite” on Southern Charm, she said the outpouring of love and support from his fans comforted him in his final days.
“Over the past two weeks he has been deeply touched by the incredible number of cards and well wishes from his fans. We hear there were hundreds of them, but they have given him immense joy in his final days.” ,” she said.

She added: “This week is dedicated to remembering Michael. We know he meant so much to so many people as he did to us. He will be missed,” he added.
Carson Kressley commented: “Oh Pat, I’m so sorry to hear this news. What a wonderful person we were all so lucky to know!”

The Carrying Bridge website said the late reality star entered hospice care in June.
He suffered a spinal cord infarction in 2021 and another stroke in October. Symptoms of osteomyelitis affected him before his death.
According to the Mayo Clinic, osteomyelitis is an “infection of the bones.”
