Heavy metal band Metallica have announced that they will be landing in Australia next year on a tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The Rockers will embark on a world tour, Down Under, in November, with performances in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland.
Their first show will be at Perth’s Optus Stadium on November 1st.

“⚠️🌏 #M72 2025 in Australia and New Zealand 🌏⚠️,” they wrote in the announcement post.
“We’re back in lockdown next November with stadium shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland!”
They added in part of the post, “Tickets go on sale on Monday, November 4th local time. Fan club pre-sale begins on Tuesday, October 29th local time.”

The band, known for hits such as Nothing Else Matters and Master of Puppets, will be supported by Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies.

“Finally,” added another.

Metallica are known for their great shows, and last year Aquaman star Jason Momoa was spotted partying with fellow fans in a mosh pit.

“She had a great time listening to her favorite songs, including Barx Æterna, Master of Puppies, and The Mailman That Never Comes.”
