Dotemu has announced that the PS5 and PS4 release date for Metal Slug Tactics is fast approaching on November 5, 2024. Accompanying the news – seen above – a new trailer reveals three more playable characters in tactical battles. In addition to the usual digital version, a physical version is also planned and more news will be shared soon.
There are three additional characters who can participate in battle: Clark Still, Ralph Jones, and Leona Heidern. Both are returning from previous entries, but Leona is completely new. She is “key to replacing fallen enemies with decoy allies. She can distract and overwhelm enemy forces with her unique approach to dominating the combat zone.”
Pre-orders will begin soon on the PS Store, with the following description provided: “Metal Slug Tactics offers a new perspective on the iconic battles of the Metal Slug series. Guide your team to victory with strategic finesse and superior firepower.” Classic action and tactical depth. Blend perfectly to unleash powerful special attacks and shape the outcome of each encounter!”
