In true Marvel fashion, the giant studio has added release dates for three mysterious movies into 2028 – and fans are already speculating furiously.
Marvel has added the following release date to the calendar: February 18, 2028. May 5, 2028. and November 10, 2028 (H/T ComicBook). It’s worth noting that this move comes shortly after the studio removed the upcoming Blade remake from the calendar entirely. Now, for those still holding out hope (like me), the movie’s release date could be February 13, 2026, which has not been announced yet, or November 6, 2026.
So could three upcoming unannounced Marvel movies fill that slot? Fans are wondering about the standalone Scarlet Witch, the upcoming Fantastic Four sequel, and the post-Fox movie. I’m looking forward to the X-Men movie, which brings together a new team (Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, of course). Kevin Feige said Deadpool and Wolverine would usher in Marvel’s “mutant era,” so anything is possible now.
“One of them is better than Captain Marvel 3!” one fan wrote.
“Blade, Armor Wars, Agatha from the Multiverse of Madness,” someone suggested.
“This will be a new saga thing. This will be a simple reboot/sequel to previous Marvel entries. The Young Avengers are likely the ‘Avengers’ team for this new chapter,” another said. There’s been a lot of buzz about the Young Avengers ever since Kate Bishop appeared in Disney+’s Hawkeye, but now there’s even more buzz thanks to the teen’s true identity being revealed in Agatha All Along. It has become.
“X-Men, a random B-tier Avengers movie, and Spider-Man 5. Call me now,” someone tweeted.
Another fan said: “I’m 100% this movie (strong feelings May 2028) is an X-Men movie.”
