“Love, Death + Robot” Season 4 Teaser Trailer Promises Dinosaurs, Devils, Cats, Pure Madness

Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer for Love, Death + Robots Volume 4. Please look at it above.

The Emmy-winning anthology returns in 10 new shorts from creator Tim Miller (Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Furt) and executive producer David Fincher (Killer, Mindhunter). We’re talking about gladiators from T. Rex, suspicious cats, overworked appliances, demons, aliens, screaming cyborgs and more. It’s just the surface.

“I’m trying to get a mix of horror, sci-fi and fantasy,” Miller told Netflix’s site Tudum. “And we work with truly amazing writers and artists.” This genre blended DNA is evident in this first look and feels like the biggest hit of chaos, charm and pure imagination. Director Jennifer Yu Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2, Kill Team Kill) is back, bringing this twisted trip to time, space and tone.

I don’t give much teaser – that’s not what I really need. The Love, the Death + Robots brand has built the follow with a fearless approach to surprise, diversity and animation. Volume 4 attempts to continue its legacy with a signature mix of ultra-violence, existential oddity and twisted humor.

Ten new stories are midway through, and fans can dive into insanity when volume four lands on Netflix on May 15th.
