Prepare to be shocked, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Fans think so, as the famous camp was reportedly filmed in a “fake” jungle with a roof on top .
The famous ITV reality show returned to our screens last night. In their place are new celebrities, ready to subject themselves to a host of disgusting and challenging ordeals, all for the pleasure of the British public.
The first episode alone generated a lot of buzz, from Coleen Rooney taking a Wagatha Christie joke right on the chin to Danny Jones getting scared when he sensed the presence of a snake in his pants.
Geordie duo Ant and Dec will return to perform ‘I’m a Celeb’, as well as appearances from jungle celebrities including Tulisa, Coleen Rooney, goalkeeper Barry and Danny Jones, for fans to enjoy. There are many things to look forward to.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s because the “jungle” where the stars live looks “fake” and roofed over.
Despite some contestants being late, they did indeed fly out for the new season, so what if the infamous location is fake?
However, before you take out your pitchfork, the reasoning behind it makes a lot of sense.
Not everything is ‘real’ (ITV)
If you don’t take safety precautions, heavy rain can ruin your show.
I’m A Celeb Camp, located in Springbrook National Park in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, Australia, has a secret roof that allows campers to protect themselves from heavy rain.
This is also used to protect the very expensive (and important) recording equipment used on the show.
As well as this, it will also be used to reduce the amount of money that a fellow camper won after the Bushtucker trial.
However, a source told Mail Online: “Most of the camp is unsheltered. It’s not like the roof at Wimbledon,” they said, adding that the roof did not even cover the beds they were sleeping on.

Sorry to further shatter your beliefs, but it turns out that the national park where this event takes place isn’t even classified as a jungle, and is actually a “lowland subtropical rainforest.”
The two are almost the same, but to be pedantic, there is a difference.
Alison Hammond has previously admitted there is a shelter in the camp, meaning stars can’t just lay around counting zeros on their payslips and get a tan.
The This Morning host, who appeared on the show in 2010, told this year’s contestant goalkeeper Barry on the Saving Grace podcast: “No, you can’t[sun].
“There are trees everywhere and canopies for lighting.
“You feel like you’re on a camping set, but you can’t see the camera.”
