Invincible Season 3 will return in 2025, but that won’t be anytime soon. The return of Prime Video’s animated superhero blockbuster has long been at the top of our list of most anticipated new TV shows, but given the fallout from its mid-season hiatus last time out, Mark Grayson I expected to have to wait a little longer for the new release. Slap his way back onto our screens.
Find all the cheat sheets for Invincible Season 3 to make up for lost time. This includes a confirmed release date, speculation about the story (and which comic issues may be adapted into animation), casting rumors, and comments from creator Robert Kirkman. And so on.

Invincible Season 3 will be released on Prime Video on February 6, 2025. Even better, there will be no mid-season break this time, with new episodes airing between February and March next year.
“What I can tell you is that Invincible creator Robert Kirkman said in an SDCC roundtable with GamesRadar+ earlier this year regarding complaints about Season 2’s midseason hiatus, “I don’t think it was that popular. It’s just that we are well aware of the facts.” “That’s what it is. I mean, we’re looking at a lot of things and we’ll definitely talk about it. So we’ll probably do a manual. I don’t know. We’re You just have to see. ”
Invincible Season 3 Story – Which issues of the comic will be covered?

Invincible season 3 is going to be huge. Don’t just take our word for it. Creator Robert Kirkman has been incredibly vocal about increasing the stakes in new seasons for quite some time.
But we’ll get to that in a moment. First, how will the story of Invincible season 3 progress after the events of the previous season?
With Mark Grayson’s nemesis Angstrom Levy completely defeated and Mark becoming increasingly aggressive and isolated, we suspect that the next season will have a much darker tone than the previous two seasons. I’m predicting it. Invincible Season 3 could also cover the end of the Invincible War arc of the comics through issue 65.
Season 3 should center on Mark’s will with Gillian Jacobs’ Atom Eve, but the season-ending stinger showing the mummy-like Ka Ho suggests he could potentially be a “villain.” It has been suggested that Mark will be incorporated into the season as ‘the week that Mark fights’.
Of course, Allen and Nolan’s (possibly temporary) partnership on Alien could come to fruition this season. Nolan has already stated that he misses his wife Debbie, so a return to Earth for the Viltrimites is definitely in the cards. If that happens, expect a reaction from Viltrumite, and perhaps an appearance from the series’ big bad, Slag.
On top of that, the Multiverse and Mark’s half-brother Oliver are both used as wildcards. It’s unclear what that means, but we can expect to see more (potentially sinister) versions of the Mark emerge, each holding up a mirror to “our” Mark. With the rate at which Oliver is growing up, comic book fans will be well aware that Kid Omni-Man may soon be in our midst…

We also know that Mark Grayson will wear a new blue suit, and from Kirkman’s initial quote about the new changes, we also know that it will be a volteface similar in tone to Spider-Man’s black symbiote suit. I understand.
“He’s in a different headspace, and that’s reflected in the costumes,” Kirkman told Variety. “Anyone who has read this series knows that the era of the Blue Suits was the darkest and most intense. There are a lot of really big events surrounding the Blue Suits.”
Whatever happens next, we expect it to be even more epic and action-packed, just like the first two seasons.
“The stakes for the season are very high and the content of the season is very intense,” Kirkman told reporters including GamesRadar+ at San Diego Comic-Con. “We’ve set up a lot of storylines in Season 1 and Season 2 that will culminate in Season 3. So in many ways, every episode feels like a finale.”
Kirkman further added, “There’s something big in every episode, there’s a big ending in every episode, there’s some kind of big evolution of characters and story development that happens in every episode. We finally get to see Season 3. I’m really excited. It’s going to be crazy.”

The first (and so far only) Invincible Season 3 teaser trailer is an original animation of Mark Grayson and Cecil sharing a brief conversation at a Burger Mart.
“What exactly have you prepared for?” Cecil asks Mark, in Season 2 of Invincible, when our hero gets his ass kicked by — let’s face it — Viltrumite Anissa (Chantelle VanSanten). He spoke with reference to the moment.
While the teasing of other storylines is light, Cecil does make a sarcastic joke about the mid-season break in Season 2. Mark replied that he was busy with the script, design, storyboards, and voice acting. Headline: Invincible’s staff is hard at work.
The trailer ends with Cecil making a list of Mark’s new training plans. He later withdrew the February release date.

The cast of Invincible Season 3 should include most of the major players from the first two seasons. Among them is Invincible himself, Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun). Also returning are Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs), Debbie (Sandra Oh), Nolan/Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), Cecil (Walton Goggins), and Amber (Zazie Beetz).
Other members of the Guardians of the Globe, including Ross Marquand’s The Immortal, should also be included in the new season, as will Anissa (Chantelle VanSanten) and Shapesmith (Ben Schwartz). is.
News regarding new additions has been light, but there’s a good chance another Walking Dead alum will join Invincible. That’s largely due to Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Instagram post from 2023, which shows the Negan actor posing next to two chunky Invincible compendiums. Fan speculation is heating up, with the two main candidates for the role of Jeffrey Dean Morgan being Viltrumite villain Conquest or their leader Cragg.
