Characters unite for a high stakes mission
The invasion created by Simon Kinberg (Deadpool, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and David Weil (Citadel) have previously told its story through separate perspectives across different parts of the world. Season 3 undergoes a major change and eventually brings these characters together to tackle one battle of a unified battle against the alien threat.
“From the start of the series, I’ve always planned to tie the main story together,” Kinberg told Collider. “Last season we had a bit of it, and this is the pinnacle of it, and our heroes are all coming together to take on the desperate mission of “Hale Mary” to save the planet.
In the new season, we see the arrival of so-called aliens. To stop them, the characters must permeate the motherhood of the alien. This is a mission to push them to their physical and emotional limits.
Explore the world of alien like never before
Kinberg promises that Season 3 will be the most intense installment ever. “It’s the most singular driving story we’ve had because it’s truly one of the great missions for alien motherhood. And it’s the most alien season when we go deep into their world to understand who they really are,” he said.
Returning cast and new faces in Invasion Season 3
The returning ensemble will include Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza and Enver Gjokaj. Erika Alexander will be taking part as a regular in the new series. As with past seasons, the show’s international range continues, spreading across multiple countries and cultures.
