Contestants for this year’s The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition have been announced, with musicians taking part alongside some of the biggest names in sport, comedy and acting.
AFL legend Billy Brownless and his son Oscar Brownless, Ian Thorpe and childhood best friend Christian Miranda, Matildas Chloe Logarzo and Emily Gilnik, TV mogul Peter Hellyer and his wife Bridget; He joins comedian Luke McGregor and his mother. , Julie, and more, there are several music-related combinations ready to take on (amazing) adventures.
Country music husband-and-wife duo Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley will also be in attendance, along with Natalie Bassingthwaite (of Rogue Traders and X Factor Australia fame) and her sister Melinda Sheldrick, DJ Havana Brown and her best friend Stephanie.・Wood will also participate.
Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley released their debut album Adam & Brooke in 2018. The album topped the ARIA Country Album Chart and was nominated for a Golden Guitar Award and an ARIA Award.
Last year, McClymont released his second album, Up Down and Sideways, after finishing runner-up on Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!. In 2022, McClymont also starred in the popular series Spicks & Specks, and the two co-starred on Channel 10’s The Living Room. The duo is touring in support of their latest album throughout 2024. Natalie Bassingthwaite joined Rogue Traders as frontwoman while appearing on Neighbours. The band managed to avoid the soap star-to-pop star backlash when they released their first single, “Voodoo Child,” in 2005.

Meanwhile, Havana Brown has toured with the likes of Britney Spears and Rihanna and has had multiple No. 1 singles in the U.S., including 2014’s Warrior. Similar to her music career, where she self-released her first song in four years, “Forever Young,” last year, Brown made six appearances on the 2016 season of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” It became the rank.
