Who will join the cast of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Australia 2024?
Queen of Radio: Brittany Hockley
Clue: “This radio queen is known for her tumultuous romances.”
When fans read this clue, they immediately thought of traditional radio hosts like Kate Langbrouck, Amanda Keller, and Jackie O. However, in late March, rumors emerged that the “Queen of Radio” originally came from the podcasting world and could be either Brittany Hockley or Laura Byrne.
It turns out Brittany Hockley has been confirmed to be heading into the jungles of South Africa and revealed the news on her radio show ‘The Pickup’.
“I’ve never been overwhelmed with so many emotions before,” Brittany said after the announcement. “I’m excited, nervous, scared, anxious, and very excited. And I’m kind of hungry!”
AFL Legend: Peter Daikos
Clue: “An AFL Hall of Famer is about to fall into the jungle. He’s also a premiership winner, but will he be able to evade the python’s loving embrace?”
This clue was revealed to be the legendary Peter Daicos, known as the “Magician” and “Wonder of Macedonia.”
Daicos scored an impressive 549 goals during his 15-year career, and since retiring he has been active as a speaker and commentator.
“As a former sportsman, after a career in the AFL, I couldn’t fill that void… which is actually pretty great. I’m mentally and physically prepared for what’s to come.” I’ve been trying to prepare for this. I’m looking forward to the challenge. It feels like a bit of a revelation for me. First and foremost, I think it’s a great experience and a challenge. ”
International Comedian: Stephen K. Amos
Clue: “This international comedian beloved by royalty is going to end up in the jungle. Let’s hope their stand-up works against the crocodiles.”
Widespread rumors had mentioned comedians Michael McIntyre and Jack Whitehall, but it turned out to be Stephen K. Amos. He is a BAFTA-nominated and RTS Award-winning comedian who has appeared on many panel shows and is now a celebrity.
Controversial TV Star: Michelle Bridges (eliminated)
Clue: “A controversial TV star is heading to the jungle.”
Fans wondered if this was a reference to just about everyone from “Married At First Sight,” “The Bachelor,” and even “Australian Survivor.” But it’s actually Michelle Bridges, a personal trainer and star of The Biggest Loser.
Bridges, an influential fitness personality and national health and wellness commentator, says she can’t wait to get into the jungle.
“I’m sure there are people in the audience who remember me from ‘The Biggest Loser,’ and I’m sure there are still people who think it’s ridiculous to walk into a room and ask them to start doing burpees and push-ups.” That’s not me. There is so much more to me than being a trainer. I would be happy if I could show that there is more to me than that. ”
Gold medalist: Ellie Cole
Clue: “Gold medalists are switching destinations from Paris to the jungles of Africa. That means they’re true pioneers.”
This clue has many potential answers, with people speculating everything from swimmer Ian Thorpe to runner Cathy Freeman.
But it’s Ellie Cole, Australia’s most decorated female Paralympic athlete. With 17 Paralympic medals, four Commonwealth titles, three world titles and nine Pan Pacific gold medals under her belt, she is aiming to test her mettle in the jungle.
“One of my favorite things about this show is that we get to see each contestant go through so much personal change, and that’s certainly something I wanted to experience. “It’s a challenge you won’t get anywhere else!” she said.
TV Lab Rat: Calum Hall
Clue: “The rat from TV is coming to the jungle.”
Love Island Australia and Love Island Games alum Callum Hole is trading in his villa for the jungle, it has been revealed. Fortunately, he has priorities as to what to fear in the wild.
“The biggest problem for me would be not having a mirror at my disposal. I don’t have a mirror, I don’t have hairspray, I don’t have hair care products. That’s my biggest concern, Innit. There’s a lot of variation in my outfits. No! I wear beige all day, you know what I mean?
Celebrity Chef: Cain Ong
Clue: This celebrity chef has landed in the jungle and has a flair for competition and is sure to cause a stir!”
MasterChef Australia season 10 star Khaing Ong takes his cooking skills to the jungle. He has already appeared on ‘Australian Survivor’ and will be taking his survival skills to a new stage. As a gourmet, his backpack will be filled with condiments.
“I want to photograph more things than anyone has ever photographed. We’re talking about salt, but it’s inevitable. I love candy, and I love coffee. And I really want some spice. Maybe just a spice mix because that would make it interesting. If not, cumin or smoked paprika – this makes everything taste better – and of course chocolate. , I might have to dye my hair…I don’t want people to think I’m not naturally pink.”
International stage sensation: Tristan McManus
Clue: “Which international stage sensation is leaving his famous family for the jungles of Africa?”
As soon as you read “Famous Families,” your mind goes to the Kardashians. However, it’s unlikely we’ll see KarJenner on this reality show.
Instead, TV and stage presenter, dancer, choreographer and former Studio 10 presenter Tristan McManus is seen exchanging family life for the wild nature. The Irishman, who has already appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing, is no stranger to reality TV.
“I’m open to adventure and tend to not worry about things until they actually happen right in front of me, but I don’t like creepy crawlies, and I’m very picky – “Since childhood – so everything is going well for me!” he said.
Attractive Sports Star: Candice Warner (eliminated)
Clue: “A glamorous sports star is heading to the jungle. She’s also been a headline-grabbing cover girl.”
Some fans were convinced it was Stephanie Rice, but it turns out that professional ironwoman and wife of Australian cricketer David Warner will also be joining them in the jungle life.
“The reason I want to do it is because my daughters are at an age where they see their dad and everything he accomplished, and it’s important for them to have a really strong role model in their mom.” she said.
“They know how scared I am of everything. If I can show them what kind of person I am, and if you’re serious about something, you can crack it. If you just let them in…that it might help them overcome their fears. If mom can do that, then they can do whatever it is they’re scared of in life.”
Mega influencer: Skye Wheatley
Clue: “A huge influencer is coming to the jungle.”
Fans assumed it would be Skye Wheatley, and they were right. After winning hearts on Big Brother 2014, Wheatley has amassed a massive online following of over 1 million across his Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels.
“I hope people don’t think I’m a nuisance, because I cry, I scream, I get upset…I know it happens. I probably don’t think it’s hilarious. I’m more excited about my reaction because I feel like it’s going to entertain the public, but can I say I’m excited about overcoming fear?”
Hollywood child actor: Frankie Muniz (voluntary resignation)
Hint: “A Hollywood child star is heading into the jungle, but are you ready for a wild adventure?”
It was almost impossible to tease this out, but it turns out that Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz will be heading into the Australian jungle.
Muniz is known for his roles in Big Fat Liar and Agent Cody Banks, and was the drummer for the band Kingsfoil. After leaving the entertainment industry, he began to aim to become an open-wheel racing driver.
Fast forward to the show, and Muniz was the first to say, “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here.”
“It’s strange that I can’t be emotional because I’ve been so busy that I’ve become almost numb. But I’ve felt an incredible amount of emotion right here with you all. ” he said, clearly emotional.
“My current situation with my wife and son… it’s my fault for not realizing what they were doing for me.
“I heard my wife say she was sad that her son didn’t play with the truck with her, and I realized that she’d be home for days and I wasn’t there when she was home. , I am ready to stand here.”
