It’s that time of year again. A slew of celebrities will soon head to the jungle to compete on the hit reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
Ahead of next season, The Weekly answers all your I’m A Celeb questions… You’re welcome!
Who is hosting I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024?
This year’s I’m A Celeb hosts are Julia Morris and Robert Irwin.
The upcoming 2024 season will be the 10th time Julia has co-hosted the show, but the first time Robert has co-hosted the show.
What happened to Dr. Chris Brown?
Robert, the son of late Australian icon Steve Irwin, will replace Dr Chris Brown in 2024.
Chris co-hosted I’m A Celeb with Julia every year since the show’s inception, but left after the 2023 season.
This is because he left Channel Ten completely and signed with Channel Seven instead. Last year, it was announced that Chris would host a new home improvement show, Dream Home, in 2024, taking over from Darryl Summers as host of Dancing with the Stars Australia.
Who will be performing on I’m A Celeb Australia 2024?
So far, Channel Ten has remained pretty tight-lipped about who will be joining the jungle in 2024.
That being said, they did release some clues. You can read them all and see your predictions for the 2024 I’m A Celeb contestants here.
When does I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024 start?
The new season of I’m A Celeb Australia will premiere on Sunday 24 March 2024 on Channel Ten and 10Play.
Where will I’m A Celebrity Australia be filmed in 2024?
The 2024 season of I’m A Celeb will be filmed in the jungles of South Africa, similar to earlier seasons of the show.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, the past few seasons have been filmed here in Australia.
How many years has it been since you started “I’m A Celebrity”?
The first season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! premiered in Australia in 2015. The upcoming 2024 season will mark the show’s 10th year.
How much do I’m A Celebrity contestants get paid?
All contestants on “I’m A Celeb” compete to win $100,000 for a charity of their choice.
However, several news outlets say contestants are also paid for their time on the show.
Yahoo Lifestyle reported that Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins (who ultimately came in 10th place in 2023) paid just under $300,000 to appear on I’m A Celeb.
Additionally, the Daily Mail reports that 2023 contestant Kelly-Ann Kennerley (who withdrew after just three days in the jungle) will receive $180,000, Peter Hellier (7th place) will receive $90,000, and Ian Ditko. It reported that Dixon (11th place) was paid $180,000. I paid $80,000.
