The Australian Nintendo Switch 2 preview event will take place on May 10th and May 11th at Centerpiece, Melbourne Park Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne VIC 3000.
How to register for the Australian NINTENDO SWITCH 2 preview event
You can register for the Australian Nintendo Switch 2 preview event from 11am AEDT on January 18th to 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday 26th January on this website.
A free Nintendo Switch Online account is required to register, and you can register as an individual or as a group of up to four people. Tickets are free, and if you’re voted in, you don’t have to pay admission.
Nintendo says that because you are not the first in best dressed, you will be given an equal opportunity to register by registering at any point during the eight-day registration period. After that, you’ll probably receive an email, probably in waves, over two or three sessions over both days.

Your ticket guarantees you the chance to get early hands-on gameplay experience with some of the latest games coming to Nintendo Switch 2.
After checking in, you may be required to wait in line before beginning your gameplay experience. Estimated gameplay time is 3 hours and 30 minutes. After 4 hours, participants will no longer be able to participate in the experience and will be asked to leave to make room for additional participants.
To maximize the number of guests enjoying this great event, the gameplay experience will include several carefully selected games, as well as a limited number of additional games from the various game demos available to guests. Includes time to select and play.
