Netflix has released the official trailer for Haunted Hotel, an adult animated comedy where guests are ghosts, staff are strangers and families who run the place can hold almost together. The 10-episode series comes from Rick and Morty Writer’s Matt Roller, mixing family sitcom beats with supernatural chaos.
Please read the trailer above and read more about it.
Family-run with a supernatural twist
At the heart of the story is Catherine (Eliza Coupe) and her recently divorced mother, Catherine (Eliza Coupe). Her help? Eliminating brother Nathan (Wilforte) is now one of the ghosts, full of advice she didn’t seek. They also have her children Ben (Schuyler Gizondo) and Esther (Natalie Paramides), as well as Abaddon (Jimi Simpson), a demon from hell trapped in the remains of an 18th century child.
The trailer teases a mix of daily sitcom issues, including school projects, family disagreements, dating, and more. It’s safe to say this isn’t your standard hospitality gig.
