The upcoming season of Euphoria has earned a major musical upgrade.
Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer has officially joined Euphoria Season 3 and has teamed up with Return composer Lovelint to win the next chapter in HBO’s acclaimed teen drama. The news arrives as production continues in the long-awaited season, which is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Zimmer is known for his iconic films in films such as Interstellar, Inception, The Lion King, and Dune, and has issued a statement called “honor to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson.” He added: “They have created so many bold and moving series for the audience. We look forward to the music of Lovelint shaping the identity of the show, contributing to the ongoing story and helping to shape this new season through music.”
Lovelint, who won his first two seasons and collaborated with Starzendaya of the series, is tired of tracks like us. He also shared his excitement.

Sam Levinson, creator of happiness, revealed that Zimmer was creative from the beginning. “I wrote this season on Interstellar and True Romance scores,” Levinson said.
“So he’s soaked up in creative DNA from the start. I’m really proud of Lovelint at work. I’ve done it last season and am excited that Hans has pushed us to new heights.”
Cast and future events
Season 3 will again star Zendaya as Bennett Rue, with the cast returning, including views of Sidney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, Alexa Demy, Maud Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo and Dominic. Sharon Stone, Rosalia, Marshawn Lynch, Kadem Hardison, Adewale Akinnue Agba and Toby Wallace are ready to join the ensemble.
HBO has not checked the plot details, but it is expected that the new season will include a time jump, which could make the character an adult. According to Francesca Orsi, director of the HBO drama, Season 3 is “expected to be the end of happiness,” she added, but “I don’t think anything has finished until it’s over.”
Euphoria season 3 is currently targeting its 2026 release.
