Joining many of Australia’s best-loved stars, the two Geelong AFL legends may be ready to overcome some of the season’s biggest challenges, but apart from the $100,000 prize, Billy will also He also talked about how his travels helped rekindle family ties.
“It was funny because we lived together when we were younger and then he left for a while with his mates and then all of a sudden we got back together,” Billy told the Daily Mail.

Reflecting on his experience on The Amazing Race, Billy continued: “We flew everywhere together, we ate everywhere together, we drank everywhere together, and it was a budget experience so we were in the same room…sometimes there was only one double bed, so we had to be shared.”

How many children does Billy Brownless have?
Geelong AFL star Billy Brownless has four children with ex-wife Nikki – Oscar, Ruby, Lucy and Max.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Oscar joined the Geelong amateur AFL team in early 2024.
The AFL star’s family has largely stayed out of the public eye, but Billy reunited with his ex-wife Nicky and their four children in March 2023 to celebrate the engagement of their daughter Ruby.
“The most magical night celebrating our engagement party. It was the perfect evening with our beautiful friends and family,” Ruby wrote on Instagram.
