Netflix has released a trailer for French Lover, a romantic comedy led by Lupin stars Omar SY and Saladillo (station). Please see the trailer above for more information.
Omar Sai plays Abel Kamara, a well-known actor with existential wobble. A chance encounter with Marion (Girloe) causes an unlikely relationship that her downstream Paris waitress, juggling every day, has been tested by the spotlight.
This is the feature directorial debut of longtime screenwriter Nina Rives, who served as the second unit director in three episodes of Netflix’s Lupine (Stars SY). The script comes from Hugo Gerin, Noemi Saglio and Rave, based on the format created by Shari Musiev. Produced by Hugo Gélin. The companies on board include Zazie Film, Federation Studio France and CoroCoro Productions, which have been participating since TF1.
