Update: Xbox has just released an Xbox Wire post about Forza Horizon 6, and has confirmed that Playground Games and Turn 10 will be introducing the game to the PS5 post launch while it will be first released on Xbox Series X | S and PC.
This game offers natural and urban environments throughout Japan, bringing out Japanese automotive culture, and the game includes everything from snowy winters to cherry blossom seasons included in the game.
Original Story: Playground Games announced its next Forza Horizon game on Instagram today. It is called Forza Horizon 6 and is here in 2026. As rumors suggest, the game will be set in Japan.
The caption reads: “The Horizon Festival is heading to Japan. We’ll be coming in 2026. Wishlist now!”
At the time of writing, no other information is known about the game, but the Xbox TGS stream is scheduled to take place later tonight. It is also unclear whether the game will only be released on Xbox Series X | S and PC, or whether it will appear on other platforms such as the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
