There have been rumors for some time that Lenovo was working on a cheaper Lenovo Legion Go with a non-removable controller, and the first photos have leaked courtesy of Windows Central.
It appears to be called the Lenovo Legion GO S, and Videocardz says it will use the new Ryzen Z2 platform. This is expected to be pretty comparable, if not more powerful than the Z1 Extreme. The removable controller and kickstand are gone, and the color is also white. The large trackpad on the Legion GO has been replaced with a smaller one on the Go S.
It’s expected to cost around US$499 (about AU$750), considerably cheaper than the standard Legion Go, and will be announced at CES in early January alongside other Windows handhelds likely to use the next version. It is expected that AMD chipset.
