The first trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth has arrived, and we are looking at the next chapter of the long-running Jurassic franchise with great viewing. Please look at it above.
Set five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the plot follows secret operations specialist Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and leads the team to a research facility on a forbidden island tied to the original Jurassic Park. I’m in charge of doing that. Their purpose: Get the DNA of three giant dinosaurs that can unlock a groundbreaking medical breakthrough. Of course, the mission will be sideways. After the boat accident, they cross roads with civilian families and incorporate secret extraction into their battle for survival with prehistoric horrors.
The cast includes two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, Zola’s trustworthy team member Duncan Kincaid and Bridgelton’s Jonathan Bailey as paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis. They join as the father of a family stranded as Rupert’s friend Manuel Garcia Lulfo, representing the big Pharma, supporting players such as Luna Blaze, David Iacono, Philippine Belgi and Ed Scarlein.
This is directed by Gareth Edwards, credits that include Rogue One, The Creator and Godzilla in 2014. The film shows the return of Jurassic Park original screenwriter David Kep. Longtime franchise producers Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are back, with Steven Spielberg on board as executive producers.
Hopefully this will serve as a new breath for the franchise. This remains the juggernaut of Universal’s box office despite mixed reviews. Previous entries, such as Jurassic World: Dominion, have scored the franchise’s worst rotten tomato score at 29%, but could crack the $1 billion mark at the box office worldwide. Ta.
Jurassic World: Play is scheduled to hit our cinemas on July 2nd and Australian cinemas on July 3rd.
