The FBI is now in full swing.
Created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, the hit CBS series follows special agents from the New York City Field Office Criminal Division as they take on the city’s biggest cases.
Season 7 premiered on October 15th, and fans are already wondering if they can expect the show to return for season 8.

Yes, FBI is officially returning for Season 8!
The main series has received a three-year order from CBS starting in 2024, which means the series will have season 8 on a 2025-2026 schedule, as well as season 9, which will air on a fall schedule in 2026-2027. It also means resurrection.
The cast of FBI went through some changes for season seven. And while we don’t know exactly who will be back yet, we do know one person who definitely won’t be back for Season 8.
Katherine Renee Kane left the show during season 7 and is not expected to reprise her role as Special Agent Tiffany Wallace in season 8.
“The time has come to look to new creative endeavors. I’m excited for the future and wish the show every success,” she told Deadline in a statement.
Longtime cast members such as Missy Peregrym and Jeremy Sisto, as well as newcomer Lisette Olivera, are all expected to return for Season 8, but we don’t know for sure yet.
