There’s nothing we Australians love more than Hugh Jackman. Except for the sound of sausages sizzling in Bunnings, or the stories of surviving ‘magpie season’. Here are three Australian classics.
And while Jackman is dominating our news cycles this week, it’s not because of his iconic Hollywood career or quirky and interesting Instagram posts.
That’s because of rumors that she is “in an affair” with her best friend, Broadway star Sutton Foster, who has announced their divorce.

Broadway geeks and theater lovers are likely aware of the long friendship these two have shared.
Jackman, 56, and Foster, 49, were friends long before they became co-workers. After that, the two co-starred in “The Music Man” in 2021, and the production ended in January 2023.
“He’s one of the greatest guys of all time and a great co-star,” Foster told People magazine in June of this year about their working relationship.
“He has an impeccable reputation for being one of the hardest workers and an incredibly kind and generous person. And all of that is true,” she also told Vogue.
“He’s now one of my best friends, which was surprising, because normally you approach something like this thinking, ‘Well, I hope we get along.'” But we… just spent Memorial Day with his family. It’s really fun to meet new friends after turning 40. ”
