The Delta Force series still lives on in the hearts of many players. So it’s no wonder so many fans enthusiastically welcomed the announcement of Delta Force Hawk Ops. Well… To be precise, it’s not “Hawk Ops” anymore, because the developers decided to remove it in favor of the simpler Delta Force. Regardless of the title, the release date is getting closer. So let’s take a look at what we know about this game.
Delta Force 2024 release date
In the Gamescom 2024 trailer, the developer announced two things.
The game will be available during Steam Next Fest (which is happening now and you can test the game) and will be playable in early access on PC this year.
There is no exact date at this time. The developers are likely waiting for feedback from Steam Next Fest. I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out more details soon after the event ends, i.e. after Monday the 21st.

As mentioned earlier, early access is only available on PC. Therefore, console owners will have to wait a little. But don’t worry, the full version will be released on multiple platforms: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PC (Steam and Epic), and mobile (iOS/Android).

According to information available on the official Discord (via moderators), optional cross-play between PC and mobile has been removed from the plans (meaning the official FAQ is a bit outdated). However, it is expected that the console and PC will be on the same server.

Delta Force’s multiplayer mode is free to play. So how will the developers monetize the game? They plan to introduce microtransactions and sell skins (and probably battle passes too). There is also a possibility that premium DLC will appear in the future. For example, be prepared to pay for campaign mode.
