Actor Cate Blanchett, director Shannon Murphy, cinematographer Zoe White, director and producer Cyan O’Clee, and Northern Pictures, whose 77th Emmy Award nomination was announced overnight in LA.
Blanchett’s performance as Katherine Ravenscroft in the Applet V+ series disclaimer was awarded a nomination for a limited or outstanding lead actress in anthology series or film five years after Mrs. America’s previous appointment in the same category.
She wins awards alongside Megan Fahee (Siren), Rashida Jones (Black Miller), Christine Millioty (Penguin) and Michelle Williams (Die for Sex).
Williams’ nomination was one of seven for death for sex about a woman diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer who abandoned her husband for 15 years and began to fully explore her sexuality. It was also nominated for the series because Australian director Shannon Murphy is a great director for the limited or anthology series or film of the episode “It’s Not That Serious.”
With further approval from Zoe White, who was nominated for Outstanding Cinematography for Non-Fiction Program for her inspiring work on the documentary Will & Harper (Netflix), and the Australian behind the camera, Cian O’Clery gets a nod for Outstanding Cinematography for Outstanding Cinematography for the Reality Program for Episode 7 of the third season of the Spectrum. O’Clery was also nominated along with Sean Bowman and Emma Choate for outstanding casting in the series’ reality program, and for outstanding programmes for outstanding director.
